The United Kingdom’s Resuscitation Council created an e-Learning with four modules designed to teach learners how to do CPR, help someone who’s choking, use a defibrillator, and more.
The designer used cinematic-quality video with actors to show each of the scenarios and added interactions to help simulate things like the correct frequency of chest compressions. Each module covers a topic that would typically be difficult to train outside of a hands-on environment. They were realistic enough that you almost feel like you’re completing the actions, without the aid of something like augmented or virtual reality.
I can see creating something similar to this for some safety or maintenance processes that are hands on, especially when creating something using virtual reality would be too difficult or expensive.
